I will only play it when it drops in price or in the game pass because I really didn't like the last two chapters I played (Mania and Origins).

I'm a little perplexed by the short duration (only 5 hours) and by the fact that they focused everything on Chrono mode. It's okay that it's not a story-driven title, but the offering seems a little thin to me

let me start by saying this is worth the same price as those old sonic games u were playing as a kid (or not if u are a zoomer) and not 60 bucks, u decided what those are worth 2nd: U HAVE TO install epic game store if u want to play multiplayer, up to 8 ppl 2.5D is fine even though i prefer the old 2D style for this kind of game unnecessary cosmetics game is fine from what i have seen, not like frontiers though, that was a fun sonic game also denuvo

Sonic Superstars is a 2D platform game that tries to recreate the classic style of the saga with 3D graphics, new powers and four-player cooperative. The levels are varied and have some original details, but they are also very linear and unchallenging. The Chaos Emeralds powers are fun to use, but don't add much to the gameplay. The story mode has three campaigns that become repetitive and the battle mode is anecdotal.

The old sonic style games are still great, they always give you that nostalgic feeling which is incredible.

The graphics are not those of a game from 2023 but rather from 2013, and even then... There's virtually no innovation, just the same gameplay as 20 years ago, but it costs 50€.

A revisited "return to the great classics", eagerly awaited by fans. It won't renew the saga like Frontiers did, but will it at least be on the same level as the old ones?
