Defend the Rook is a thrilling action-packed game that involves keeping the king piece safe from enemy attacks. The game aims to defend the rook, which serves as a crucial strategic piece in the game of chess. Players have to survive waves of increasingly difficult enemy attackers while defending the rook for as long as possible. The game is designed to challenge players' strategic thinking skills while also testing their reaction times and accuracy.

Players start the game with a standard set of weapons, including a handgun and a knife, and can collect power-ups throughout the game that add extra firepower. These power-ups come in various forms, such as automatic rifles, rocket launchers, and even flamethrowers. Players can also upgrade their weapons by spending points they earn from defeating enemies. The game has multiple levels of difficulty, and players can choose the level that best suits their skill level.

One of the key features of Defend the Rook is the variety of enemies players face. Each type of enemy has unique abilities and behaviors, requiring players to adapt their strategy accordingly. For example, some enemies move quickly and attack from a distance, while others move slowly but are highly resilient. Players must also deal with boss enemies that have impressive health and damage stats, adding an extra layer of challenge to the game.
