Nate is accompanied by his pet angel Nugget, who offers some angelic advice that often goes unheeded, and serves more as a grappling hook for Nate or a weapon he can swing around.  Together, the unlikely pair travel across the world in search of ingredients, finding themselves in hilarious and disgusting situations with bizarre individuals.
