Return to Monkey Island features the same talents as the original, making their triumphant return in what is sure to be another laugh-out-loud hit.
Series creator Ron Gilbert returns as the director and writer, alongside Dave Grossman, who co-wrote the original Monkey Island. Also coming back is Dominic Armato, the original voice of the protagonist, hapless wannabe pirate Guybrush Threepwood. Finally, we also have composers Michael Land, Peter McConnel and Clint Bajakian.
The original Monkey Island game features Guybrush Threepwood attempting to become the most notorious pirate in the area. In the process, he must thwart the evil zombie pirate, LeChuck, and win the heart of his beloved, Elaine Marley. As Threepwood, you must explore the fictional “Tri-Island Area” in the Caribbean, discover secrets, solve hilarious puzzles, and cross swords and trade insults with undead pirates. It’s the pinnacle of LucasArts' comedy adventures, and Return to Monkey Island is set to be a return to form for the series.
