It's 1903 in the small mining town of Goldcrest. Angel and her husband, who works in the local mine, live a peaceful existence working hard to earn their sustenance. But things suddenly rake a turn for the worse when the Mayor unexpectedly closes the mine, leaving several miners trapped inside. Not being able to get an answer from the authorities, Angel decides to sneak into the mine to look for her missing husband.
