The long running 4X strategy series is back into the fray with Nobunaga’s Ambition - Taishi. Once again, Japan’s Sengoku era (Warring States Period) comes to life as daimyo vie for domination of the entire country. Who will rise as Shogun?
New Resolve system. Take on the role of one of several historical Japanese lords. Control of one of the major clans and rise to power as supreme ruler. Under the new Resolve system, every warlord has their own set of goals and personality traits which grant rewards if you follow them. Pacifist leaders, for example, would gain bonuses if they make alliances with other clans.
Devise your Strategy. In order to attain total victory, you must balance military conquest with diplomacy, economics, and infrastructure. You must think about forming alliances, building irrigation systems for rice farms, and building ninja villages to guard your territory in order to win the game. Resources are limited so you must use them wisely.
Tactical Moves. Combat is now a blend of real-time and turn-based. Plan and set your moves ahead and watch them play out on the battlefield.
