Horizon Forbidden West is an action RPG and the sequel to the critically acclaimed Horizon Zero Dawn. In the 31st century, a few tribes of humans struggle to survive in a world dominated by machines. Living as hunters and gatherers their mostly pacific coexistence with the machines was threatened as a result of a strange phenomenon known as "The Derangement" that made machines very aggressive towards humans. In Horizon Forbidden West you will continue to play as Aloy, a huntress of the Nora tribe that was also the protagonist of the previous game. After the events in Horizon Zero Dawn, a new threat has appeared in the lands of your tribe in the form of a mysterious red plague that kills everything it infects. You will be sent to the west to investigate the origin of this dangerous threat and try to find a way to stop it.

With a map much bigger than the one in the previous game and even better graphics, Horizon Forbidden West is an epic adventure in which you will discover the secrets of a post-apocalyptic yet beautiful land. As you explore lush forest and sunken cities, you will try to prevent the extinction of the human race and the world as you know it. Be ready to fight against new and dangerous enemies as you unravel the mysterious past of human civilization to save it from extinction.

The first Zero Dawn was from a Dutch studio ( i'm from Netherlands too ) so extra proud for them to make a good game! They really made a female character a badass girl instead of a sexy girl. Now this game steps it up a little more, the way the character moves and interacts with everything from NPC to the machine is truly next gen. It's sadly not on PC yet but maybe in a year. Great game.

Loved the story in Zero Dawn - it did get a bit repetitive with the gameplay, but it was for sure more interesting/entertaining in general than your average open-world rpg!

After watching it for 1 week on twitch, I think it is one of the best games, graphics looks wonderful, very good gameplay, it misses certain things, but still is a wonderful game.

Very beautiful, really. Compared to the first one, it was already a slap in the face, but here, hats off. The realism of the robots and the animations are really well done. The story is also very interesting.

I'm waiting all that the Forbidden West has to offer! We must battle, and we will be able to explore every corner of the game world.There will be challenges and activities that we will be able to do, and battles in the arena.

for the little we saw the game is very nice, the soundtrack is great, the atmosphere is very original, both soothing and threatening like you say "oh yeah it's exotic but something can fall on me at any time".

Horizon Forbidden West is a fantasy game. Here you have an open world, and excellent graphics, and non-linearity, and a plot, and, of course, interesting combat mechanics. This is a beautiful universe where you, playing as Aloy, discover the secrets and secrets of the fallen world of the Forerunners. Looking forward to the game!
