Rescue HQ - The Tycoon is a building game where you design and build your headquarters from scratch. In this game, you get to manage a joint station that is used by three emergency departments – ambulance, police, and the fire brigade. You’ll have to get by with limited budget, and thus you will be facing certain decisions and emergencies needing immediate attention.

While struggling with all the tension, you will need to develop your HQ, hire new members and staff, and provide them with the equipment they need, including the vehicles. Keep your city safe and keep your head cool.

In Rescue HQ - The Tycoon, you will control different emergency departments. Play as the police and send out appropriate forces and vehicles from your SWAT team to dangerous situations to keep your city safe. Give your force the equipment necessary to complete operations successfully. You can even interrogate prisoners and process their file to earn extra cash on the side.
You can also play as the fire brigade and get your team into emergencies. Train your firefighters to develop the appropriate skills for the mission. Divide them into teams and assign them into various shifts based on their skills.
You will also be in charge of the ambulance service, and you must take care of patients in the medical station of your HQ. Keep your patients safe and give your medical team the support they need.

Rescue HQ - The Tycoon casual-indie-simulation game that you won't want to stop playing once you start.

    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

How does the 'Employee Morale' mechanic specifically impact the efficiency of rescue operations and resource management within the Rescue HQ?
Employee morale directly affects task completion speed, the likelihood of errors, and the willingness of employees to take on additional responsibilities. High morale leads to faster responses, while low morale slows down operations, potentially endangering lives and increasing costs.
Can I strategically prioritize which emergency types (fire, medical, police) to respond to first, and how does this affect the reputation and funding I receive in Rescue HQ?
Yes, prioritizing emergency responses is a core mechanic. Focusing on certain types can improve your reputation with specific agencies and the public. Success in high-priority emergencies generates more positive press and funding, while neglecting certain emergency types can lead to negative consequences.
What unique challenges do I face when expanding my headquarters beyond a single building, and how does the multi-building mechanic influence emergency response times?
Expanding requires managing multiple buildings, each needing staff, resources, and potentially specialized units. The challenge lies in coordinating responses across locations. Multiple buildings allow for faster responses to simultaneous emergencies but require careful planning to avoid bottlenecks.
How does the 'Research & Development' system allow me to unlock new equipment, vehicles, and upgrades, and what strategic advantages do these advancements provide in the game?
Research unlocks new technologies, equipment, and vehicle upgrades, offering various advantages. Upgraded ambulances improve patient survival rates, enhanced fire trucks extinguish fires faster, and improved police vehicles can apprehend criminals more effectively. Careful research choices can significantly improve operational efficiency.
Does the game feature any mechanics for handling public relations and media coverage, and if so, how do these influence the public's perception of my Rescue HQ?
Yes, media coverage and public relations are crucial. Successfully handling high-profile incidents and responding quickly can generate positive press, boosting your reputation and funding. Conversely, failures and poor management can lead to negative press, impacting your ability to secure funding and attract staff.
Can I influence the types of emergencies I receive by strategically allocating resources or making specific in-game decisions, and if so, how?
Yes, your actions influence the types of emergencies you face. For example, improving the quality of your police department may lead to a reduction in crime-related emergencies, while neglecting fire safety can lead to more fire-related calls. Strategic choices lead to changing scenarios.
What role does the 'Training' system play in developing the skills and specializations of my personnel, and how does this affect their performance in different types of emergencies?
Training is essential for improving employee skills. Specialized training, such as advanced firefighting or tactical police training, makes units more effective. Well-trained employees perform tasks faster, make fewer mistakes, and handle complex situations better.
How does the 'Finance' system work in detail, and what are the key financial considerations that impact the overall success of my Rescue HQ in the long run?
The finance system involves managing budgets, salaries, equipment costs, and income from successful operations. Long-term success depends on maintaining a healthy cash flow, making sound investments, and controlling expenses. Careful financial management is critical.
Are there any unique events or scenarios that can dynamically alter the gameplay, and how do I need to adapt my strategies to handle these unexpected challenges?
Yes, the game features random events and scenarios, like natural disasters or outbreaks. These events demand that you adapt your strategies, such as deploying additional resources, re-prioritizing responses, and potentially coordinating with other emergency services, which may or may not be controlled by you.
How does the 'Campaign' mode differentiate itself from the 'Sandbox' mode, and what unique objectives and challenges are available in the campaign?
Campaign mode offers a structured experience with specific objectives, resource constraints, and narrative elements. Sandbox mode allows for a more open-ended experience without specific goals, providing a more relaxed gameplay environment for experimentation and creative base-building strategies. Campaign mode has specific victory conditions tied to narrative arcs.
