    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I grab and hold onto moving objects, like pendulums, to swing myself across gaps, and does the grip strength vary based on the surface?
Yes, you can grab onto moving objects. The grip is dependent on the surface, with smoother surfaces making it more difficult to maintain a grip.
If I accidentally fling my character off a ledge, is there any in-game mechanic that helps me to recover, or is it a straight fall to reset?
There is no specific recovery mechanic. Falling usually results in a reset to the last checkpoint or starting position of the level.
How does the game handle physics interactions when multiple players are grabbing the same object; does it introduce chaos?
Yes, multiple players grabbing an object increases the chaos and unpredictability of the physics interactions, often leading to hilarious results.
Is there a stamina system that limits how long I can hold onto objects or climb, and how does it impact gameplay?
No, there is no stamina system. You can hold onto objects and climb for as long as your grip holds, allowing for strategic planning.
Are there any puzzles that require precise timing based on real-world physics, like launching objects with a specific velocity?
Yes, some puzzles require precise timing and understanding of physics, such as launching objects to hit targets or using momentum to reach elevated areas.
Can I use my character's ragdoll physics to 'walk' or maneuver in unconventional ways, and how effective is this technique?
You can, but this technique is generally difficult to master. Often, it provides a comical but slow method of movement, and rarely is it the optimal way to complete a level.
How does the game handle the weight of objects; can I use heavy items to solve puzzles or overcome obstacles?
Yes, the weight of objects is a factor. Heavier objects influence how they move, and you may need to use them to activate pressure plates or tip the balance to progress.
Is there any in-game tutorial or guidance on mastering the unique movement and grabbing mechanics, or is it primarily a trial-and-error experience?
The game offers some basic hints, but a lot of the learning is through experimentation and trial-and-error. The core mechanics are straightforward, but the nuanced physics interactions must be learned.
Can the environment be significantly altered through physics; for example, by pushing structures around?
Yes, many levels allow for environmental interaction, such as pushing structures or objects. This is important to solve puzzles.
Are there any interactive elements in the environment that react specifically to player's physics-based interactions, like swinging or bouncing?
Yes, many elements in the environment react to player interaction. This is one of the core elements of the gameplay loop.
