You can try out Stellar Blade on PC right now ahead of its June launch
Stellar Blade is no longer just a console exclusive. Ahead of its official PC launch on June 11, developer Shift Up has released a free demo for the game on both Steam and the Epic Games Store. The demo gives players a chance to test performance on their systems and get an early look at what made Stellar Blade one of 2024’s breakout action titles.
The announcement came via Stellar Blade’s official X (formerly Twitter) account, which confirmed that the demo is now available in nearly 250 regions worldwide. This early release is designed not only to build excitement but also to ensure a smooth experience for PC players ahead of launch. With the full game just weeks away, it’s the perfect opportunity for curious players to get hands-on.

Originally launched in April as a PlayStation 5 exclusive, Stellar Blade became an instant success. The visually stunning, character-driven action game sold over one million copies within its first two months, becoming the most successful title to date for Korean developer Shift Up. That success has helped pave the way for the studio’s ambitious future plans, including a confirmed sequel and a new IP currently codenamed Project Witches.
Try Before You Buy – With Save Data Carryover
The demo includes the opening stage of Stellar Blade, along with its first boss battle. After completing the main section, players unlock an additional mid-boss fight to showcase more advanced combat. A variety of skills and outfits are available, giving players a small taste of the game’s robust customization options. Shift Up also confirmed that progress made in the demo will carry over to the full version—a welcome feature for those ready to jump in on day one.
For those concerned about specs, Shift Up has outlined system requirements. An RTX 3050 Ti laptop GPU is recommended for 1080p at 60 FPS on low settings, while an RTX 3060 is preferred for 1440p at medium settings—paired with an eight-core CPU and 16 GB of RAM.
With Stellar Blade’s PC debut just around the corner, this demo is the ideal way to see if your rig is ready. And when you're ready to make the leap, don’t forget to use our price comparison tool to lock in the best deal for Stellar Blade on PC.
