The launch of GRID 2019 is delayed by a month
Codemasters seems to be having a tough time with the development of the new installment in the GRID series. The new GRID was supposed to launch on September 13th this year, but the publisher has confirmed through a post in the official Twitter account of the game that the release is being delayed to October 11th.
Quick update: The release date for GRID has been moved to October 11, with the Ultimate Edition launching October 8.

According to Codemasters the reason behind this unexpected change would be "giving added exposure to a game they are hugely excited about" but we can't avoid thinking that maybe it could have something to do with GRID being launching on Google Stadia on a later date. We don´t know for sure, maybe it's just not getting as much attention as it deserves considering the success of the long-running GRID racing series. Speculations aside, it has been confirmed that those that bought the Ultimate Edition of the game will still have three days of early access to GRID, and they will be able to play it from October 8th. As a new entry in the TOCA series, the 2019 version of GRID will try to get the attention of the fans of the series once more. To do so, Codemasters plans to reveal a lot of information about the game in the months left until it's released. The latest GRID footage that we have been able to watch is a video from two weeks ago that showcases the Chevrolet Corvette C7.R as it races through the Brands Hatch GP circuit.
Among the features that GRID will offer to us, we can find a new Racecraft meter, which will track your racing performance, and seven vehicle classes including Touring, Tuner, Stock, GT, Formula J, Prototypes, and Group 7 Specials. We expect to see a lot more of GRID in the following weeks and we will keep you updated about any surprises that Codemasters may be holding.
