The Adventures of Elliot – A Beautiful HD-2D Journey Begins

On June 18th of this year, Square Enix and Claytechworks (the team behind Octopath Traveler and Bravely Default) will release a brand-new action RPG! Introducing: The Adventures of Elliot: The Millennium Tales.

Explore a journey through space and time spanning 1,000 years

The game revolves around the journey of the main character, Elliot, and his fairy companion, Faie. To break a curse placed upon Princess Heuria, the duo must travel through four different eras in a 1,000-year history via the "Gate of Time":

• Age of Safekeeping: Elliot's current era.

• Age of Reconstruction: A period where humans strive to rebuild their lives.

• Age of Magic: The most flourishing period of mankind.

• Age of Budding: The dawn of human civilization.

This is an action RPG rather than the turn-based style of the team’s previous series; players will engage in real-time battles that require flexibility and strategy. Furthermore, the game features a weapon and magic swapping system, where Elliot can equip two out of seven different weapon types simultaneously, while the fairy Faie provides magical support to defeat monsters and solve environmental puzzles.

The game also features an incredibly interesting Magicite system, allowing players to customize weapons by attaching various types of Magicite found along the way to create unique combat styles. Finally, the game will support two play modes: Single-player and Local Co-Op.
