Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections is the seventh installment of the Ultimate Ninja Storm series, developed by CyberConnect2 and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam platforms. It is a single-player and multiplayer third-person fighting game set in the Naruto universe. This title brings together content such as storylines and playable characters from all previous Ultimate Ninja Storm games into one comprehensive package. Additionally, it introduces an original story chapter and new playable characters, offering players a selection of over 130 characters for engaging in powerful ninja battles.
On March 26, 2024, Bandai Namco revealed the official patch notes for Naruto x Boruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections' latest patch, version 1.20, on their website. This update promises numerous changes, new DLC, and more:

New In-game Event “Ninja Battle”:
Ninja Battle is new in-game event where players can join one of two camps based on NARUTO and BORUTO’s question. During the event, players will be able to enjoy rank match and the new battle rule “Target Match.” To celebrate the start, the first ninja battle will be “Rasengan VS Chidori,” The first Shinobi Front “Rasengan vs. Chidori” is scheduled to be held from Thursday, March 28th. In addition, to coincide with the Shinobi Front, items that can be exchanged with “Exchange Tickets” that can be obtained in Shinobi Front have been added to the collection. Information about Shinobi Front will be announced on the game’s official website and official X from time to time.
