After a few hours, I realize that the game works well, but it still has its limits. Yes, the gameplay is excellent, but the story sometimes lacks originality and some quests are very similar to what we have already seen in other JRPGs. The retro style is nice, but not revolutionary. That said, the whole thing remains very solid and enjoyable to play. The combat system really catches up with everything, even if some battles are repetitive. If you're looking for a strategic JRPG, you'll be served, even if the game doesn't reinvent the wheel

I agree so much with your ideas. I couldn't say it better. When i play a game, i don't care about graphics. I play for the gameplay, for the story, for the secrets to uncover, for the ambiant, to feel transported, to live an experience i will not forget... I love the games that are trying to impress us but not about graphics and this one is clearly unique.
