Motion Twin announces a new DLC for Dead Cells

As we told you recently, Dead Cells, which celebrated its second anniversary this summer, will soon receive a new free update. Motion Twin announced it to us earlier this month after quite a few weeks of silence. They also revealed that Dead Cells players would have other surprises in the coming months, and they have just lifted the veil on at least one of them by announcing a new paid DLC for the game, Fatal Falls

Revealed in the short trailer below, Fatal Falls will bring two new zones, Fractured Shrines and Undying Shores, in which we will discover two new biomes outside the castle and where we will continue the story of the Prisoner. Fatal Falls will also add a new boss and new weapons which are yet to be specified. Motion Twin hasn't provided too many details yet, but the Fatal Falls DLC for Dead Cells will use the same model as The Bad Seed.

As for the release date, it has yet to be confirmed. The only indication we have is early 2021. Considering that it's not that far now, we should have news about Fatal Falls and its launch date very soon. Motion Twin has promised to give us more information on the future of Dead Cells and to improve the communicating with the player base on a more regular basis.

In the meantime, the game will receive additional content soon with the free update scheduled for mid-December which will bring a new weapon and new skins among other things. To learn more about this, you can read our dedicated article right here. As usual, if you don't yet have Dead Cells, don't hesitate to visit our comparator to find it at the best price.
