Senua's Saga: Hellblade II has an official release date

Senua's Saga: Hellblade II has gone through a long development process but it's almost ready to be released. According to the guys at Ninja Theory, the sequel to Hellbalde: Senua's Sacrifice is in its final stage of development. Until now, the release date for the game was unknown but the Developer Direct hosted by Xbox and Bethesda yesterday left us with many surprises. Not only we could watch a video with new footage of Senua's Saga: Hellblade II but also the official release date for the game was revealed.

Coming this Spring

The video shown at the Developer Direct shows some cinematic scenes of Senua's Saga: Hellblade II and plenty of footage focused on the development process of the game. Also, Melina Juergens talks about her role as Senua in the game and the story.

In Senua's Saga: Hellblade II, the protagonist will try to stop the Vikings that raided her home in the first game. This time, she travels to Iceland to face them. However, the new game will be significantly different from its predecessor, as Senua has managed to make peace with her inner demons and is not afraid of her visions and the voices in her mind. This does not imply that Senua's Saga: Hellblade II is going to be less immersive than its predecessors by any means. The new game will feature a deep narrative and an exciting storyline that will be as engaging and complex as the one in the first Hellblade.
