Bandai Namco reveals details about One Piece Odyssey demo

One Piece fans are eagerly awaiting the release of the next game based on the iconic anime series from Eiichiro Oda. One Piece Odyssey is not the first video game inspired by the Straw Hat pirates, and we have seen them in titles like One Piece World Seeker and One Piece Pirate Warriors, but the upcoming game will take a very interesting approach to the storytelling and the action as a role-playing adventure with turn-based battles. 

As we explained in a previous article, Bandai Namco will launch a demo on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X/S consoles ahead of the official release of the final version, which will become available on January 14, 2023. The demo, which will launch on January 10, will serve as an introduction to the main game, and we know a little more about it thanks to a publication from Bandai Namco's account on Twitter. The demo will focus on the Dressrosa arc, and the Straw Hat pirates will help "Rebecca, Sabo, and Trafalgar Law to save the city of Dressrosa from destruction at the hands of Doflamingo". 

The most significant announcement regarding the One Piece Odyssey demo reveals that all your progress will carry over to the main game if you decide to buy it. Therefore, the demo serves as an early access of sorts for all the fans that will be immersing themselves in the world of One Piece Odyssey as soon as it's available.
