Crackdown 3’s Launch Trailer and Opening Cinematic Revealed

Crackdown 3’s Launch Trailer and Opening Cinematic Revealed

Xbox Game Studios has released two new videos for Crackdown 3 before it becomes available to retail, digital, and Game Pass this February 15. The launch trailer and opening cinematic game along with a full list of achievements for the game were all shown during the recent episode of Inside Xbox. In the same event, Terry Crews was interviewed and shared some info about his character in Crackdown 3.

What’s in the Trailer?

Not much about the gameplay mechanics and the storyline can be seen from the trailer. However, there are some cool things that caught my attention. There’s the futuristic vibe, the utter chaos, the super fast cars, the arsenals, and just everything exploding here and there.

Available on February 7th

You may not have to wait until February 15th to give it a try. Jorg Neumann, head of Production of Microsoft Global Publishing, said that they are launching a technical test for Crackdown 3’s Wrecking Zone mode with the Xbox Inside community. He added that this is not a beta test but rather it is for them to “gather as much information, feedback, and bug reports as possible”. This technical test will start on Thursday, February 7. The installation begins at 9 AM PST/5PM UTC and the playtest begins at 12 PM PST/8PM UTC. The members of the Xbox Inside community will only be able to play the Agent Hunter mode on the Blackout Zone. In this zone, you get to score points by taking out opponents and collecting their badges. Stay tuned and follow Xbox Insider Hub on their social media platforms for more updates and additional playtest sessions announcements.
