After suffering continuous delays during development, the third installment of the Crackdown series is finally here. Crackdown 3 is an open-world third-person action game where you will incarnate a member of the Agency, an organization in charge of law enforcement through the creation and use of supersoldiers known as "Agents". You are Commander Jaxon (Terry Crews), and this time your mission will be to stop a criminal syndicate known as Terra Nova. They are behind a series of terrorist attacks that have been spreading chaos through the world, and you will go to New Providence city to put an end to their activities using any means necessary. Despite your enhanced superhuman capabilities and your hi-tech weaponry, it won't be an easy task, because Terra Nova controls the city.
Crackdown 3 offers you a whole city as a playground full of destructive environments where you will be able to fight the criminals to your heart's content. From guns to rocket launchers, you will use a variety of weapons to kill any criminal that dares to face you. And if those are not enough, you can always use a good pair of superpowered fists to get rid of them. If you kill enough gang members and destroy locations important for a certain gang, you will draw the attention of the respective Kingpin to you, so you always have to be ready for a tough fight.
You can play the campaign solo or in co-op mode with a friend, but the game also features a multiplayer mode known as Wrecking Zone that pits two teams of five players in fully destructible arena scenarios so they can let loose their fighting spirit.
To sum up, Crackdown 3 is a third person shooter packed with action that offers you a whole destructible city so you can deliver justice in any way you see fit through using amazing weapons and augmented physical abilities. What else could you hope for?
