Codemasters launches a new GRID gameplay video
After the announcement of a delay in the release date of the new installment in the GRID series last week, Codemasters seems to be doing what they promised: "giving more exposure to the game". That was the main reason they came up with to justify the delay of GRID launch until October 11th. One week later we are getting more gameplay footage with a new video that lets us take a peek some new racing locations.
We already know that the 2019 reboot of GRID will let us race through places like the Brands Hatch circuit in England or the streets of Havana, but it has been revealed that the game will include some other locations, like Zhejiang, China or San Francisco. We expect to see more in the following weeks, of course. After watching the video, many of you will probably be wondering what has happened with one of the main features in the series, that is the destructibility of the cars. Don't worry about it; Codemasters has confirmed that it's not showing in the videos because they are still giving some finishing touches to the feature, but they have promised that it will be in the game at launch.
The Pontiac Firebird Modified and Chevrolet Camaro SSX Concept that you can see racing in the video are just a tiny part of the incredible cars that you will be able to drive in GRID. You could see the Chevrolet Corvette C7.R last week, and we hope to see a few more before the game launches. Remember that even if GRID official launch date is October 11th, you can start playing three days earlier if you purchase the Ultimate Edition of the game. GRID 2019 will be available on PC, PlayStation and Xbox One, but it will also be one of the games that Google Stadia users can play once it launches.
