BALL x PIT, the popular roguelite that combines brick-breaking action with city-building and bullet-hell mechanics, is set to release its first major free content update. Dubbed The Regal Update, it will launch on January 26, 2026, across all platforms, including PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2.

What's new in the update?

The update introduces two brand-new playable characters, each offering unique abilities that change how players approach the game. The Carouser wields balls that orbit around them, creating a dynamic offensive and defensive field that reshapes positioning strategies. The Falconer, on the other hand, is accompanied by two loyal falcons that independently throw balls during combat, adding a companion-based tactical layer to gameplay. These additions expand the game's roster and provide fresh options for all players.

Beyond the new characters, The Regal Update brings eight new types of balls designed to enhance combat variety and build customization. Players will also find a range of new passive abilities, allowing deeper strategic options and more diverse playstyles.
