Cyberpunk 2077: lifepaths and weapons in detail
Last June, episode 1 of Night City Wire taught us a little more about the universe of Cyberpunk 2077. The second meeting of this type took place yesterday and it allowed us to discover more things about the game.
The first episode showed us a video presenting a Cyberpunk 2077 mission, but also gameplay, all accompanied by comments from the developers. This new Night City Wire has focused on two essential components of the game, the different lifepaths available to our character and the weapons.
Cyberpunk 2077 will indeed offer players to choose their origins before they start their adventure in the game. You will have to choose between three lifepaths, Street Kid, Nomad, and Corpo. They actually represent the story of your character before you took control of it and they will have an impact throughout the game. With the Street Kid path, you will begin your adventure in the streets of Night City, where gangs compete with each other. Nomad will get you started in the Badlands with a group of nomads. Finally, Corpo will put you in the shoes of an employee of a multinational called Arasaka.
Therefore, each path will offer you a different starting point, but they will also have an impact on your progress in Cyberpunk 2077 by granting you bonuses to certain skills and specific dialogue options, for example.
We were also able to take a deeper look at the weapons in the game. They will be divided into several categories such as melee or technological weapons. They can be modified thanks to improvements such as sights or silencers. It looks like the arsenal available to you in Cyberpunk 2077 is rich and varied enough to best suit all kinds of playstyles.
There is a lot more information about Cyberpunk 2077 to be discovered before its release on November 19, and we know more in a possible third episode of Night City Wire, whose date is still unknown.
