Hail Caesar! Or at least, that's what you want people to say to you eventually. And in Caesar IV, you'll get the chance to work your way up through the ranks of the newly reborn Roman Empire to become the highest station possible: Caesar. But to do so, you must prove you have what it takes to not only build a kingdom, but maintain it, prosper through it, and have the people love you for it. If you're able to do that, you might just be Caesar one day. In Caesar IV, you'll start out as the role of Governor, not a bad place to start to be honest. With total control of the province you are on, you'll be able to build it, maintain it, grow it, profit from it, and more. Just know, that like any ruling station, there will be challenges to overcome from both without and within. You'll need to make sure your people are fed, have jobs, have a civil attitude. And, you'll need to make sure your province can defend itself from attack should it come. Then, once you prove your worthiness, you'll be able to expand your influence to other parts of the Roman Empire, be given new responsibilities, as well as challenges. You'll find that Caesar IV doesn't skimp on the city-building aspects of the game. You'll have over 100 unique buildings to construct, 75 characters to interact with as you go through the game, numerous industries you can have you provinces take part in, lots of items to trade and much more. Build your Rome, then rule over it in Caesar IV.
