    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use multiple skills simultaneously, like throwing a grenade while firing my weapon?
No, commandos typically perform only one action at a time, emphasizing strategic planning over fast-paced action.
How does the 'view cone' mechanic affect my strategy?
The view cone determines enemy sight range and direction. Understanding and utilizing it is crucial for stealth, allowing you to avoid detection and plan ambushes effectively.
If a commando is spotted, is the mission automatically failed?
Not always. While detection is undesirable, sometimes you can recover by quickly eliminating the threat or using environmental elements for concealment before the alarm is raised.
Is there a limit to how many items a commando can carry?
Yes, each commando has a limited inventory. Managing items, choosing the right tools for the job, and scavenging enemy equipment are critical aspects of gameplay.
How does the 'alert level' system work, and what are its consequences?
The alert level increases based on enemy sightings, deaths, or suspicious noises. Higher alert levels trigger reinforcements, increased enemy vigilance, and make stealth significantly harder.
Can I control vehicles, and if so, how does it affect the gameplay?
Yes, you can control vehicles in certain missions. This adds new tactical options for transportation, combat, and area control, but also introduces vulnerabilities.
How do I 'interrogate' enemies, and what information can I obtain?
The Green Beret can incapacitate enemies with a hand-to-hand combat skill. The enemy will then be interrogated, revealing enemy patrol routes or other mission-critical information. However, the interrogation is time limited.
Can I use the environment to my advantage, such as collapsing structures or triggering explosions?
Yes, environmental interaction is a key part of the gameplay. Using explosives, manipulating objects, and exploiting the environment are vital for creating diversions and clearing paths.
What is the purpose of the 'distraction' mechanic?
Distraction, such as throwing a cigarette, is used to lure enemies away from their patrol routes or guard posts, creating opportunities for stealth maneuvers or ambushes.
How does the 'sniper' class function, and what are his limitations?
The sniper class provides long-range combat capabilities. Limitations include a limited number of shots, the need to find vantage points, and vulnerability at close range.
