Oxide Room 208 is a brutal descent into a living nightmare; part psychological torment, part survival test. Eight strangers find themselves imprisoned inside a rotting fusion of roadside motel and cold, clinical laboratory. Somewhere in the shadows, a figure known as "Doc" manipulates their every move, while Eva, a once-innocent soul now twisted into a vessel, reshapes reality with her damaged mind. The only way out is through the mysterious Door 208, but crossing its threshold is far from simple.
The world around you is as unstable as it is horrifying. You'll wander through seven vividly grotesque environments: the mold-infested halls of a crumbling motel, damp and secretive underground labs, a decaying greenhouse, the creeping edges of a silent forest, and the suffocating darkness of an abandoned mine. Each location pulses with an organic menace, as though the walls themselves are alive and watching. The people you encounter may not be allies. A cannibal hiker, a washed-up rock icon, fame-chasing horror streamers; each has their own motives, and none can be trusted without risk. Even death offers no release; those who fall can return as revenants, more dangerous and unrecognizable than before. Switch seamlessly between first-person claustrophobia and the wider awareness of third-person view, adapting your perspective to the danger at hand. Use the built-in photo mode to capture moments you'd rather forget.
Powered by Unreal Engine 5, the game's photorealistic visuals and ray-traced lighting create a world so tangible you can almost smell the decay. Every character is brought to life with full motion and facial capture, their smallest expressions betraying fear, malice, or madness. The chilling soundtrack, with contributions from Spanish rock band Sôber and music creators ANBR, amplifies every tense heartbeat and sharpens each sudden shock.
Survival is an unrelenting battle. Resources are scarce, enemies are merciless, and hesitation is lethal. Oxide Room 208 wants to grind you down and test your limits.
