In Grounded 2, you're once again shrunk down to insect-size and thrust into the chaotic wilderness of Brookhollow Park, an expansive, nostalgic suburban landscape set in the early '90s. With danger lurking beneath every leaf and discovery around every corner, this sequel ramps up the scale, depth, and thrill of survival in a world where the grass is taller than trees and your worst enemy might have six legs.

Grounded 2 introduces many novelties, like new insect mounts that fundamentally change the way you navigate the environment. Whether you're galloping across the lawn on an ant or climbing vertical surfaces with a beetle, each bug companion comes with unique traits that can be trained in combat, exploration, and resource gathering. The game massive too, more than triple the size of its predecessor. You'll trek through frozen underbrush, toxic puddles, creepy subterranean tunnels, and newly introduced biomes teeming with mystery. You can explore the new areas solo or with up to three friends in co-op to scavenge resources and build fortified bases to withstand nightly raids and unpredictable predators. Survival games are not my favorite type of games but, encouraged by some friends to try it, I gave it a try and I quite liked it. I lost track of time. So much so that I can't wait to get in front of the computer to continue playing, killing lots of insects and building things. The combat is quite fluid and you can even dodge. The map is quite large and varied and you can ride bugs!

I love this game! The new map is great to explore and the buggy and omni-tool make everything so much easier than in Grounded 1. For still being in Early Access, it's fun to build stuff and kill bugs, even though it has a few roadblocks, as expected. But I like it so far. Also, with the amount of content in the game so far, I'm pretty satisfied.

Grounded 2 is a title that will delight those who enjoyed the first installment, although it should be pointed out that this is first and foremost an early access game. As with any early access game, you can see its potential, but with all the flaws it's likely to encounter during its development. Personally, I'll be more interested when it's officially released.

It's a love letter to all the gamers who loved the first part. They've made almost everything better than the first installment. Of course, the performance needs to be improved. For what it is, it works very well, it certainly could be a lot worse, but there are some performance tweaks that need to be addressed. I know the developers are hard-working people who can be trusted and will end up doing a great job. I have no doubt in my mind.

Grounded 2 is a worthy successor to the first: prettier, bigger and more complete. The new map is very pleasant to discover and rather varied, even if some parts are a little empty at the moment. The addition of mounts makes exploration a pleasure, especially as they have the ability to carry resources, so we don't have to go back and forth. I hope to see the arrival of butterfly-like flying mounts in future patches. The soundscape is as good as ever.

Grounded 2 looks very similar to the first game, but with a larger open world to explore and insects that can be assembled. Unique biomes that can vary greatly from one another, dynamic weather that affects gameplay and room for creativity when it comes to building bases or customization options. Overall, I think Grounded 2 is a fun experience, best enjoyed with friends.

Much improved version of Grounded 1. It's a sequel in every way, however, the only bad thing is that it's still in early access. That said, it will have bug headaches (literal in-game bugs and crashes) and a lot of content that has yet to be added.

I recommend it! Having already played the first with my friends, I had to try the second. After testing, the game is brilliant, as much or even more so than the first. Everything is better, smoother and funnier. If you finished and enjoyed the first one, don't hesitate and buy it now!

I love Grounded, and Grounded 2 is positioned to be an excellent successor to an excellent game. This game is not at its best, even for early access. There's a lot of room for improvement but I have every confidence that I'll have a good time with this game again.

The first one was already a banger, but this one's map is just enormous! A few extra square meters when you're only a few millimeters tall is a lot :P A pure nostalgia treat for those who knew the "Chérie, j'ai rétréci les gosses" film series. Survival as we like it, in a world that reminds us just how small we really are!
