There are actually some improvements to be excited about this year, but unfortunately many of the same issues with animations, AI logic and a host of bugs with lack of polish that have existed for years continue to ruin the overall experience.

70€, rated 55% on Steam by its players, doesn't bode well, especially at that price. For a "new" arrival that's supposed to improve on the "prowess" of its predecessors, it's scary. In particular, it's been criticized for numerous bugs (not to change with EA) and even downright unplayability; crashes, menus that haven't been translated for years, an AI that's too strong for no reason at all and takes away from the title's fun potential - in short, avoid it and play the old titles.

The best the franchise has been in a while. EA has taken player's feedback into consideration and made defending less of a chore while also improving on the presentation and looks of the matches in general. If you don't like the sport it probably won't change your mind, but fans will certainly enjoy it.

Madden 26 is a good improvement on the series. Gameplay is faster and more responsive than in previous games. Weather conditions now have a real impact on matches (long passes more difficult in the rain, possibility of sliding, reduced visibility). Superstar mode is nice, but choices have almost no consequences, and some animations are really not that great compared to other titles in its category.

The game suffers from slow menus, frequent bugs and crashes, visual glitches on players and uniforms, and a limited Superstar mode. Even Franchise mode can be unstable, and Ultimate Team sometimes has problems with rewards and servers.

Madden NFL 26 keeps the core of the series intact while delivering noticeable improvements in visuals and animations. The AI feels more realistic, and the overall game flow is smoother. Some old animations are still repetitive, but for fans of American football, it’s a satisfying experience.

60 being the cap for my games, it being 70 just gets throw out the window. besides that, it has bugs to the point that the game would not start, scuffed menus and commentary. it has better animations, gameplay, AI and other most things from previous maddens but still, not 70 bucks.

although i don't like sports games, i noticed that the franchise mode is a nice step forward and the gameplay is nice and smooth, the only flaw maybe is the ultimate team which seems quite pay to win
