Broken Arrow is a large-scale modern real-time tactics game from Slitherine Ltd. that fuses fast-paced RTS gameplay with the strategic depth of joint-force military warfare. Featuring U.S. and Russian factions — each with five unique sub-divisions like Marines, Airborne, and Armored — players can tailor their armies to suit their playstyle and dominate sprawling, hyper-detailed battlefields.

Command land, sea, and air units in action-packed engagements where smart positioning, rapid deployments, and combined arms tactics are key to victory. Launch paratrooper assaults, infiltrate enemy lines with special forces, and unleash precision missile strikes — all while using terrain to ambush, flank, and outwit the opposition.

With over 300 units and a robust customization system offering 1500+ combinations, you can modify everything from tank armor and sensor suites to aircraft payloads and artillery munitions. Build your ideal force and adapt it for each mission or match, from intense city fights in real-world-inspired maps to amphibious assaults and high-altitude airbase captures.

Broken Arrow also features a powerful scenario editor with drag-and-drop scripting, enabling players to design custom missions complete with cutscenes and dialogue.

I'm a big fan of RTS games - some of my all-time favorites are Command & Conquer and Company of Heroes. While Broken Arrow is more focused around typical grander strategy, I still really like the realism it brings in a modern setting. However, it does seem like it needs a lot of polish around multiple edges; especially on the singleplayer side. I'm not really a fan sweaty PvP multiplayer matches, so I probably won't pick it up until it becomes very affordable.

Broken Arrow is a good RTS, with effective gameplay and easy handling. The game offers great replayability. The graphics and sound design are top-notch. There are still a few technical problems, which should be patched in future releases.

Great mix of depth and action. Unit customization is solid, and battles feel tense without being too chaotic. Still a few bugs, but very promising overall.

if you like RTS and you come from WARNO or Wargame, you will love this game. It is similar, but much better in all aspects.
