The 1930s rubber-hose cartoon aesthetic mixed with a gritty noir vibe looks absolutely phenomenal, and the big band jazz soundtrack sets the perfect mood for a detective shooter. The movement mechanics like grappling hooks and wall-running add a great layer of verticality and speed to the chaotic gunplay. However, maintaining that high-contrast black and white visual style across an entire campaign can occasionally lead to visual fatigue and make spotting enemies in dark alleys a bit frustrating. It's a highly creative FPS that relies heavily on its unique art style, but the core loops of hunting for clues between shootouts can feel a bit repetitive after the initial novelty wears off.
