Master Detective Archives: Rain Code is a mystery game from the creators of the Danganronpa series. Set in the mysterious Kanai Ward, the city of rain, this adventure puts you in the shoes of Shinigami and Yuma, a pair of investigators from the World Detective Organization, which is dedicated to solving cases. All of the detectives in the organization have supernatural powers that manifest in the form of a Forensic Forte. These grant them unique abilities that they can use to progress through the investigation. Yuma is an apprentice, and Shinigami is the spirit that accompanies him. Together they will unravel the mysteries of Master Detective Archives: Rain Code.

Kanai Ward is controlled by the Amaterasu Corporation, which is deeply connected to most mysteries in the city. But the powerful corporation doesn't like others mingling into its affairs and considers the Master Detectives as its enemies. Its agents will do anything they can to thwart your efforts and hinder your investigations.

Master Detective Archives: Rain Code features a unique 3D environment for you to explore as you investigate cases. To solve a case, you will have to progress through the Mystery Labyrinth, an ever-changing dimension full of traps and enemies that will try to stop Yuma. Only by fighting against these, you will be able to find the culprit and unveil the mysteries.
