The unexpected discovery of an entity that infects every human's psyche opens the door to a conflict that pits the SCP Foundation against many other global organizations when it's decided that the only answer to the problem is the extermination of the human race. Stopping the entity from reaching its true potential is more important than the survival of our race and can be considered a mercy.

SCP: Pandemic is a cooperative first-person tactical shooter where you are a member of a fireteam immersed in an operation against the SCP Foundation during a containment breach. The game follows a thrilling storyline inspired by the SCP-5000 canon by Tanhony. You start in Area 12, where the Psi-Z program is being actualized. Your mission is to gather vital information about the origin of the psyche-pandemic and stop SCP Foundation's plans to exterminate human life.

You will fight against different types of enemies across multiple levels, face environmental puzzles and challenges, and discover a deep horror storyline. The game features modern weaponry and a complex AI perception system that makes it harder for the enemies to find you in the dark. Therefore, you can take advantage of that to devise plenty of strategies to outsmart your opponents and increase your chances of succeeding in your mission.

    FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

Can I infect other human players in the containment zone, even if they are wearing level 3 hazmat suits?
Yes, but it takes significantly longer for the infection to take hold. Exposure time is the key factor.
If I am playing as the MTF and the infection spreads to a certain level in the containment zone, do I automatically lose?
No, while the infection level is a major threat, MTF victory is determined by containing SCPs and eliminating hostiles; even while infected, victory is possible.
Does using a specific SCP against another player, such as 939, guarantee a successful kill?
No, each SCP has unique vulnerabilities and counters. Smart use of the environment and cooperation with other SCPs or players is key.
How does the 'Anomalous Resource' system function, and what impact does it have on gameplay?
Anomalous Resources are a resource that players scavenge in the containment zone. They are used for crafting equipment, upgrading abilities, and even some SCP abilities. Controlling these resources is key to victory.
If I am playing as a Researcher, can I directly control SCPs, and if so, how does this work?
Researchers cannot directly control SCPs. They can, however, use specialized equipment to influence SCP behavior or gain intel on their location and capabilities.
Does the type of containment zone environment (e.g., bio-research lab, heavy containment zone) affect the rate of infection spread or the behavior of SCPs?
Yes, different environments introduce various challenges. Some environments might feature higher infection spread rates, while others may provide SCPs with strategic advantages.
Is the 'stress' mechanic only affecting human player characters?
Yes, stress affects the performance and abilities of human characters. Certain events and SCP abilities will cause higher stress levels. Managing stress is important for survival.
Can SCP-049 use its ability to 'cure' players that are wearing hazmat suits?
No, SCP-049's abilities are limited by protection, such as level 3 hazmat suits.
How does the game handle respawns, and are respawns unlimited?
The game implements a limited respawn system. The number of respawns varies depending on the game mode and the faction. Using resources and objectives will affect the amount of respawns available to a team.
If I am infected, does the spread of the disease impact my ability to use equipment or perform actions?
Yes, as the infection progresses, it can hinder various abilities, such as equipment use, movement speed, and reaction time. Management of the infection is crucial for survival.
