Is this the real life, or is this just fantasy? You can find out in this futuristic Japanese visual Cyanotype Daydream -The Girl Who Dreamed the World-. You take the perspective of a young man named Kaito, who wakes up with amnesia in an unfamiliar room. His only companions are Izumo, the overseer, and a pale-haired girl named Yonagi. Kaito’s role is to experience the lives of three different stories, each separated by time and space. By the end of it, he will discover how the stories are interconnected and what his role is in this world.

Case-1: Hatano Rin. Professor Arishima Kaoru is an unhappy man stuck in a loveless marriage and a dead-end teaching job. He soon discovers that one of his students, Rin, is the daughter of his most beloved author. As their relationship deepens, he rediscovers his dream of becoming a writer.

Case-2: Olivia Berry. Set in England during the Elizabethan era, we follow young William Shakespeare as he struggles to make ends meet in his failing pub by staging plays he has written for his patrons. He eventually encounters Olivia, a confident young woman with fiery aspirations, and finds his life turned upside-down.

Case-3 Momonouichi Sumomo. College drop-out Amei Kanna lives a nowhere life, spending all his time in the garage fixing his departed mother’s van. All that changes when he meets teacher-in-training Sumomo, who inspires him to go on a road trip to locate a special place from his mother’s drawings.

Mystery, bittersweet romance, and heart-rending drama await you in these stories from Cyanotype Daydream -The Girl Who Dreamed the World-.
