Welcome to Starsand, a survival game set in a mystical, expansive, and merciless desert. You are stranded here on your own when a sandstorm separates you from your caravan. Now you must find a way to survive this inhospitable world of sand.

Wander an enormous desert environment with an area covering more than 64 square kilometres. Experience dynamic weather where you must contend with the scorching heat of the sun or the ferocious winds of a sudden sandstorm. Each day brings the same oppressive heat, so you must do all you can to find enough shelter and water. Each night, you must also find a way to fend off the vicious cold.

Use crafting skills to create tools and build shelters to keep out the elements and monsters. Hunt for food and sources of water. Craft weapons like spears and coconut grenades. Defend your home against desert creatures that come out at night to raid your base. Beware of giant insects, and of course, giant sandworms that burrow up from the ground.

Starsand will also reward those who explore its furthest reaches. You will find oases with life-giving water, and ancient ruins containing traps, puzzles, treasure, and perhaps clues to the mysteries of this alien desert.
