Yes, track conditions, realistic signaling (including interlocking), and dynamic weather significantly influence gameplay. These factors affect speed limits, braking distances, and train handling.; Are there different levels of realism available, or is it always geared towards a simulationist approach?
The game provides a range of realism settings. You can adjust the level of simulation from simplified (with more assistance) to highly realistic, affecting factors like brake behavior and train handling.; How deep is the route creation tool? Can I build custom routes with detailed track layouts, scenery, and signaling systems?
The route editor is powerful, allowing you to create custom routes with complex track layouts, detailed scenery, and fully functional signaling systems, offering immense customization.; Can I experience different eras of railroading, from steam locomotives to modern electric trains, and are these accurately modeled?
