There are plenty of weapons to be had, but realistic loading means you have to be strategic about your ammo. In order to use gun attachments and modifications, you also have to find instructions on how to do so from manuals or magazines. The zombies are not the only danger present — if your friends are not careful, you can get shot by friendly fire.
The zombies are also realistic: they can perceive you by sight or hearing. Thankfully, you can evade them by running, hiding, or disguising yourself as a zombie. With an open and readily explorable world before you, you have a ton of nonlinear ways to achieve your goal.
