Dark Envoy is a nonlinear RPG that takes inspiration in games like Divinity, XCOM, FTL, Mass Effect, and Dragon Age and offers free world exploration with tactical combat.

The Human Empire fights against the Old Races for dominance, Dark Technology fights against Magic, the strong prey on the weak. Kaela and Kiros want to repair their parent's old airship to explore and travel the world, seeking dungeons and challenges to find riches.

Explore the world using your Skyship as your base and hunt for mythical locations and procedurally generated dungeons. Choose wisely where to travel however, as the world map adjusts with the passing of in-game time. Locations will randomly respawn, becoming progressively more challenging to travel for you and your party. The turn-based combat accompanied by a real-time pre-combat phase gives importance to the tactics you employ as well as your party power. The decisions you make will impact the world and it leads to different endings. Explore the 15 unique character classes with the ability to mix skill trees and some rare classes that can only be found through chained quests or in remote areas. The game has a high-replayability factor due to a large pool of quests, local, and world events. One cannot uncover all of the content in a single playthrough.

You can play solo or in the two-player co-op or the Player vs World mode where the second player acts as the end boss and works to eliminate the first player before he becomes too strong.
