Enter the arena and get ready to experience a fight full of twists with Arms! Arms is a fighting game using Joy-Con's motion sensors. Take one in each hand and face your opponent. You play as a character with stretching arms, able to launch punches at a distance. To hit your opponent, you just have to punch like in a boxing match. Arms also uses the Joy-Con triggers to perform various actions such as jumping, or parrying. Each character has his own abilities and weapons. Several fists are offered to each character, and you can combine 2 different ones to make devastating combos. Each player also has a special gauge, which once filled allows triggering an overpowering attack. As for the arenas, they are multiple and varied, so that you can make the best use of the environment around you to benefit from it. Arms is playable alone against the computer, or in pairs, on a split screen; online, or locally with two Nintendo Switch consoles. Arms is a game accessible to all but proves to be an extremely tactical game against experienced players.
