FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

: Beyond simple visual cues, how does the game signify the presence and influence of spectral entities in the physical world, and what gameplay implications does this have for Lilius?
Spectral entities manifest through subtle atmospheric shifts, localized temperature drops, and faint auditory hallucinations that only Lilius can perceive. These shifts are not merely decorative; they actively disrupt Lilius's physical interactions, causing objects to become unstable or illusions to obscure pathways. Players must learn to interpret these spectral disturbances to anticipate challenges and find hidden clues that are otherwise invisible.; What is the 'Resonance' mechanic, and how does Lilius utilize it to bridge the gap between the physical and spirit realms for progression?
Resonance is a core mechanic where Lilius can attune himself to specific objects or locations, causing them to vibrate with spectral energy. This attunement allows him to temporarily perceive echoes of past events or spectral imprints tied to the object. By 'playing' these resonances in the correct sequence or intensity, Lilius can unlock hidden passages, reveal spectral truths, or even manifest objects from the spirit world into the physical realm for a short duration.; How does the 'Ephemeral Echo' system work, and what role does it play in uncovering the narrative and solving environmental puzzles?
Ephemeral Echoes are fragmented memories or emotional imprints left behind by spirits. Lilius can 'capture' these echoes by interacting with specific spectral residues. Once captured, these echoes can be replayed or pieced together to form a coherent narrative or provide vital clues for puzzles. The challenge lies in finding the right echoes in the correct order, as some may be misleading or incomplete without the context of others.; What are 'Spectral Traps,' and how does Lilius’s understanding of spirit world physics help him navigate or disarm them?
Spectral Traps are hazards born from intense spiritual energy or lingering negative emotions. They can manifest as barriers that drain Lilius's spiritual energy, illusions that lead him astray, or even localized temporal distortions. Lilius must use his knowledge of how spirits interact with the physical plane – understanding their non-corporeal nature and how they can exert subtle influences – to identify the weak points of these traps and find safe passage through or methods to dissipate their energy.
