Imagine living in a small british city where everyone is completely happy. All you have to do is taking your daily dose of Joy, a little pill that make all your problems dissapear and grant you absolute happiness... It's 1964 and World War II has ended with Nazis losing control of Germany, which then reformed to the German Empire. The Empire managed to win the war and occupied Great Britain. The small island city of Wellington Wells has suffered like any other during occupation, and their inhabitants were forced to commit certain atrocities that they will never forgive. In an attempt of forgetting their past they created a hallucinogen drug, called Joy, that makes them forget all their unhappy memories. The only problem is that it also removes their ability to recognize moral consequences. As a result, the place transforms into a kind of dystopian society, where those who refuse the drug are violently forced to consume it. We Happy Few is a psychological horror adventure that featues a procedurally generated world that makes every game unique. You will have to learn how to interact with the other memebers of your society, and adapt chosing combat, conformity or stealth if you want to survive and escape from this mad, mad world.
