The story of the Viking-inspired tactical RPG continues in The Banner Saga 2! This chapter follows Rook’s tribe as they continue their way south to flee the encroaching army of the legendary Dredge. The struggle becomes even more desperate as supplies dwindle and dangers abound. But you will make a terrible discovery: the Dredge are invading your world because they themselves are fleeing disaster. A greater menace than them approaches from the north, something that may bring about the end of everything!

As with the previous installment, choices in the game have consequences, often fatal ones for you and your allies. The Banner Saga features turn-based combat with different melee and ranged units. In this sequel, a new unit called the Horseborn, a centaur-like race, provides additional tactical complexity.

Featuring artwork inspired by the animation of Ralph Bakshi and Don Bluth, The Banner Saga 2 is filled with an ethereal beauty, and it's a constant reminder that life is fragile and fleeting and deserves to be cherished.
