Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is getting new weapons in the Chaos Wastes DLC

Since it was released two years ago, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 has kept the attention of the fans of Warhammer, the tabletop miniature games created by Games Workshop. Like its predecesor, the game offers quite a different approach to the Warhammer universe than the one which players can experience in the original game. Instead of focusing on strategy and commanding an army on a battlefield, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 makes the experience close and personal allowing you to play some heroes in the first person as they battle against the forces of Chaos and the Skavens. With five classes to choose from, namely Battle wizard, Witch Hunter, Mercenary, Waystalker, and Ranger Veteran, Warhammer: Vermintide 2 offers the players plenty of options to engage in melee and ranged combat against hordes of enemies corrupted by the influence of dark powers. The game has received plenty of updates since it was released and now a brand new DLC called Chaos Wastes is on the way.

Developer Fatshark has recently talked about the content in the new DLC for Warhammer: Vermintide 2. Among other novelties, Chaos Wastes will add a new weapon for each class in the game, as well as a brand new gun for Victor, the Witch Hunter. He will be able to lay waste to any aberrations that dare to cross his path with a triple-barreled pistol called griffonfoot. Unfortunately, the developers haven't delved too deep into the other contents that Chaos Wastes will add to the game. We know that the expansion will let players explore the eponymous territory, which is under the influence of strong Winds of Magic and very close to the portal to the Realm of Chaos, and it will feature a campaign with plenty of missions, new rewards, and new enemies to fight.
