Warhammer: Vermintide 2 – Winds of Magic is available on Xbox One

Released in 2018, first on PC, then Xbox One and finally a little later on PS4, Warhammer: Vermintide 2, was followed by two DLCs which brought a little additional content in the year of its release. But nothing compares to Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Winds of Magic, the first real expansion of the game, which greatly enriches the gameplay experience.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 - Winds of Magic was released last August on PC, but console players have been forced to be patient. Well, the wait is over now for Xbox One players since the expansion is now available on the console of Microsoft. PS4 players still have to wait for a bit longer, but not too much, since Winds of Magic will be available on Sony's console in January 2020.

In Winds of Magic, players will face a new enemy faction, the Beastmen, who have come straight from the depths of the Reikwald Forest after the fall of a meteorite. On top of that, Winds of Magic brings the Cataclysm difficulty level, which will prove to be a challenge even for experienced players. The expansion also includes a new progression system, which is specific to it, and the maximum level increases from 30 to 35. Each hero also has a new weapon too. Finally, a new game mode called Winds of Magic, allows players to take upon diverse series of challenges, with increasing difficulty, each of them with different gameplay modifiers.

In parallel, a recent update has brought some new features to PC, including weekly quests and changes to character management and crafting. Finally, the start of the second season of the game, which was originally scheduled to be released at the end of the year, has been postponed, but it has been available in its beta version on Steam since December 16, and continue to be accessible until January. To install it, simply go to the game properties in your library and start the download available in the beta section.
