Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt is coming in early access

The classic role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade has served as a more or less direct inspiration for many vampire-themed video games. When it was first published in 1991, it laid the foundations of an amazingly complex and detailed universe, the World of Darkness. The most anticipated game based on the license right now is undoubtedly Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, but its development has been plagued by problems that have resulted in postponements, the latest of which has been a change of developer. But there is another game currently in development, Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt, a free-to-play battle royale that will arrive this year.

A new trailer was shown last night at Gamescom's Opening Night Live, but it was also revealed that Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt will be coming into early access on September 7. This is good news for all players eager to discover what the game has to offer while waiting for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2. It's not a surprise, though, since the testing phase took place earlier this summer, and the system requirements to play the game on PC were revealed at that time.

The new trailer introduces the Toreador clan. It also allows us to discover a bit more of the gameplay of Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt and its impressive graphics, especially the sublime light effects in the city of Prague. We can see that the vampires will use a varied arsenal that includes firearms, katanas, or even vampiric disciplines to fight their opponents.

Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt will arrive in Early Access on September 7, exclusively on PC via Steam. In addition, the game will also be present at the Futur Games Show tonight at 10 pm UK time. We should have more information about the early access during the event.
