The Witcher 3's next-gen version will launch later this year
There are more than enough reasons to play The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Not only is it considered one of the best role-playing games of all time, but it has also placed Geralt as one of the most iconic characters in the world of video games and outside of it. The protagonist of Andrzej Sapkowski's novels was well known in the gaming community thanks to the first two games in the series. Both The Witcher and The Witcher 2 are good video games, but The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is an outstanding masterpiece whose huge success is the origin of The Witcher TV series.
It's quite likely that you already own the game and have immersed yourself into the dark fantasy world of The Witcher if you are a fan of role-playing games, but some people still have to discover it or have played the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. If you are one of those, and you were waiting for the new version of The Witcher 3 specially created to take advantage of the next-gen consoles' capabilities, you will be glad to know that CD Projekt Red has confirmed its launch for this year after announcing a delay last month.
Let's make this 7th anniversary even better, shall we?

The announcement was made as part of the celebrations of the seventh anniversary of the game. The launch was originally scheduled for the second quarter of 2022, but CD Projekt Red delayed it after evaluating the scope of the work to be done. The studio was probably more concerned about finishing all the pending work with Cyberpunk 2077.
In any case, we should hear about a more accurate release date in the coming months. Remember that you can visit our comparator to get a The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt CD Key and its expansions Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine at the best price.
