The Day Before will have a beta in 2023

The Day Before was destined to be one of the great releases of 2023. The new zombie survival adventure from Fntastic was delayed after the studio recognized that it didn't own the rights to the name of the game, which came as a huge surprise for all the fans that wishlisted the game on Steam. The Day Before was then removed from Steam and pretty much disappeared from the radar. In a recent interview, the developer studio revealed that it's committed to bringing the game back to Valve's platform, even though its main focus is finishing development and polishing the game right now. Also, it seems that some players will be able to test the features in the upcoming post-apocalyptic multiplayer zombie shooter ahead of release thanks to a beta event.

“We understand that many of you have been eagerly waiting for the release of this game, and we want to thank you for your patience and support throughout the development process. We have been working hard to ensure that the game meets our high standards, and we are confident that it will be worth the wait.

As we get closer to the release date, we will be conducting a beta test for the game. This will give players the opportunity to try out the game before it is released and provide valuable feedback that we can use to improve the final product.”

The Day Before release date

According to Fntastic, the release of The Day Before is scheduled for November 10, 2023, and it won't be subject to any delays. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, but we will have to wait a bit longer to see if the studio is able to put it on Steam's shelves or not.
