Cyberpunk 2077 turns five, and NVIDIA is hosting a very rare giveaway

NVIDIA honors Cyberpunk 2077’s 5th anniversary with an exclusive giveaway

NVIDIA is commemorating the fifth anniversary of Cyberpunk 2077 by offering a unique GeForce RTX 2080 Ti Cyberpunk 2077 Edition, which has been personally signed by CEO Jensen Huang. Two of these pieces will be given away, with at least one carrying the signature of the increasingly prominent leader. The entry process is being managed through the GeForce social media platforms, utilizing anniversary and CES-themed prompts.

This graphics card boasts a specialized AL5052 aluminum shroud and showcases the yellow and black color palette of Cyberpunk 2077, complete with turquoise lighting and a coordinated backplate. Beneath the shroud, the card retains the regular RTX 2080 Ti Founders Edition specifications.

The game has acted as a prominent showcase for numerous NVIDIA RTX features. At launch, it featured four ray-traced effects, including shadows, reflections, and ambient occlusion, along with DLSS 2.0. Updates over time have introduced full ray tracing via the RT Overdrive mode and support for DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction and DLSS 4 on newer RTX hardware. It's worth noting that the RTX 2080 Ti model being offered does not support some of these advanced features—though, realistically, it likely won't be placed in a working computer if won.

This is probably one of NVIDIA's most exclusive Turing cards, as it was never available for retail purchase and only 200 units were manufactured. Out of those, 77 were distributed through a 2020 sweepstakes. These prizes, particularly the signed ones, will probably attract attention from collectors.

To participate in the contest, simply click on the embedded social media post above and comment with "GeForce Season" for a chance to win.
