Space Marine 2 and Darktide are getting into the spotlight soon

There are many franchises with special celebrations throughout the year, and Games Workshop couldn't be any less. Warhammer tabletop games have served as an inspiration for many video games, and Warhammer Skulls is the event where all the announcements about everything related to the popular tabletop strategy games take place. This year's event will kick off on June 1st at 19:00 CEST, and all the fans can watch it via Twitch. 

Games Workshop has already confirmed that there will be news about Space Marine 2 and Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, two upcoming titles that have had many fans waiting for a while. On the one hand, the sequel to Space Marine was announced at The Game Awards 2021, and it promises to ramp up the action following the endeavors of Captain Titus as he fights along with his comrades against unending hordes of Tyranids in a new adventure. On the other hand, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is a 4-player co-op action game that pits a group of agents of the Inquisition against Chaos cultists in the hive city of Tertium. Two completely different approaches to the action inspired by the same game that the fans are eager to discover in-depth.

The Warhammer Skulls event will also bring more news about games that players can enjoy already. Total War: Warhammer III and Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters should get some attention. We may also get some news about one of the most visceral series in the franchise, Vermintide, although it's uncertain if we will see the announcement of a new game or something different.
