Ubisoft details post-launch content for Assassin's Creed Valhalla

It's not unusual for developers to talk about their future plans for their games but at the same time, it feels kind of awkward to think that they may be putting effort into creating post-launch content for a game that has not even been released yet. You always keep thinking if that time couldn't have been used to deliver a better game or doing it faster. It seems that Assassin's Creed Valhalla is not going to be an exception to the rule, and the gods of marketing seem to have dictated that we need to know about the future plans for a game even before that we get the opportunity of deciding if we like the game itself or not.

Ubisoft has detailed the content that Assassin's Creed Valhalla will be getting after the release of the game on November 10th and there are plenty of additions on the way, including a Season Pass with two major expansions and free seasonal content among other things.

Wrath of the Druids is an expansion coming in spring 2021 that will take your adventure to Ireland, where you will uncover the secrets of an ancient druidic cult. A few months later you will be able to experience the most ambitious battle in Viking history by taking part in The Siege of Paris. Both expansions will be part of the aforementioned Season Pass, which will also include an exclusive bonus mission for Assassin's Creed Valhalla in which will let players delve into the legend of Beowulf.

Regarding additional content for Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the first season of the game will kick off in December, and it will bring a new area for your settlement, a new type of raids, and a limited-time event in the form of the Yule Festival, along with new skills for the players, cosmetic items, weapons, and more.

It's good to know that Ubisoft is not forgetting about Assassin's Creed Valhalla after the release and that they plan to expand the content in the game through the following year. It would be even better if they could make the game available earlier so we could actually play it.
