Sony is giving PlayStation fans another reason to open their wallets, with a new Marvel’s Wolverine-themed PS5 bundle and a matching lineup of limited-edition accessories launching alongside Insomniac Games’ highly anticipated Wolverine game later this year.

The centerpiece is the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition - Marvel’s Wolverine Battle Yellow Limited Edition Bundle, which takes inspiration from Wolverine’s classic black-and-yellow costume. The console features a comics-inspired design created by Insomniac Games in collaboration with Scottish graphic artist Jock, while a matching DualSense controller comes with its own claw-marked design.

The Battle Yellow look won’t be limited to the new console, either. Sony is also releasing matching covers for the standard PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro. Fans who prefer something a little more metallic can instead pick up Adamantium-themed versions of the PS5 Pro covers and DualSense controller, inspired by the metal bonded to Logan’s skeleton.

  • PS5 Pro Console Covers – Battle Yellow: $74.99 / £64.99 / €74.99 / ¥9,980
  • PS5 Pro Console Covers – Adamantium: $74.99 / £64.99 / €74.99
  • Marvel’s Wolverine Adamantium DualSense: $84.99 / £74.99 / €84.99

Preorders for the limited-edition PS5, Battle Yellow DualSense, and console covers open August 19. The PS5 and Battle Yellow controller will be sold through Sony Direct and select retailers, while the Adamantium accessories and console covers will be exclusive to Sony Direct.

Everything is scheduled to launch on September 15, the same day Marvel’s Wolverine arrives on PS5. Given how quickly previous PlayStation limited editions have disappeared, these could be particularly difficult to find once preorders go live. Whether you prefer the classic Battle Yellow look or the more understated Adamantium theme, these accessories could quickly become collector’s items once supplies run out.

C’est simple et efficace, les deux designs sont soignés. J’ai quand même une petite préférence pour la version Adamantium, que je trouve plus sobre et élégante avec son aspect métallique

Mi piace il lavoro fatto su questa PS5, in particolare i dettagli che danno l'impressione che Wolverine abbia davvero graffiato la cover. Il DualSense abbinato completa bene l'insieme e le diverse custodie permettono anche ai proprietari di una PS5 Slim o Pro di godere del tema. Il lato collezionista rischia soprattutto di parlare ai grandi fan della Marvel
I like the work done on this PS5, especially the details that give the impression that Wolverine actually scratched the cover. The matching DualSense controller completes the look nicely, and the different cases allow owners of a PS5 Slim or Pro to enjoy the theme as well. The collector's item is likely to appeal especially to big Marvel fans.

The pricing is fairly typical for a limited-edition bundle, but it does push the Digital Edition into a higher bracket than usual. The separate faceplates and controllers offer more flexibility for existing PS5 owners, especially with both Battle Yellow and Adamantium options.

El diseño amarillo con marcas de garras y el toque metálico del adamantium hacen que la consola y los mandos se sientan realmente temáticos. A mi me encanta.
The yellow design with claw marks and the metallic adamantium finish make the console and controllers feel truly themed. I love it.
