Survive the dinner rush in Happy’s Humble Burger Cult

Happy’s Humble Burger Cult takes the creepy fast-food nightmare of Happy’s Humble Burger Farm and gives it a much louder, messier upgrade. Instead of quietly suffering through another terrifying shift alone, players can now bring up to three friends into the kitchen for a co-op extraction experience where flipping burgers is only half the battle.

Developed by Scythe Dev Team and published by tinyBuild, the game places players inside another twisted experiment run by the mysterious Paragon Corporation. At first, the job sounds simple enough: take orders, grill patties, prepare fries, pour drinks and keep the customers moving. Before long, however, the restaurant begins falling apart, strange modifiers start changing the rules and the monstrous Asset Joy begins hunting the employees.

Serve, survive and escape with the cash

The basic goal is to survive the shift, complete the closing duties and escape with the money you earned. Push your luck for too long and you could lose everything. This gives Happy’s Humble Burger Cult a fun extraction-game structure, turning every restaurant shift into a balancing act between making more cash and getting out before the kitchen becomes a supernatural disaster zone.

It feels a little like Overcooked mixed with Lethal Company. Like Overcooked, the game asks players to divide jobs and communicate while orders pile up. However, the horror, unpredictable modifiers and extraction mechanics give it a darker and much more chaotic personality. One player might be grilling burgers while another handles the register, all while somebody else screams because a giant cow monster has entered the kitchen.

Communication is especially dangerous because the game can listen through your microphone. Spoken incantations can trigger unusual effects, including teleportation or stopping time, but saying the wrong thing can attract Asset Joy or punish the entire team. With the Profanity Policy modifier active, swearing can cause problems for everyone—which is wonderfully cruel in a game almost guaranteed to make players shout at each other.

More than 35 modifiers, multiple restaurants, unlockable cosmetics, tougher contracts and a social lobby filled with minigames should keep each session feeling unpredictable. Solo play is available, but the real fun clearly comes from watching a supposedly organised group of friends completely collapse during the dinner rush.
